Dr. Janice Linton
BOARD MEMBER
Janice Linton is a doctorally prepared adult nurse practitioner and assistant professor with over 20 years of nursing experience. She has a subspecialty certification as an advanced certified hospice and palliative care nurse and practiced as a nurse practitioner for an in-patient consultative palliative care team. She has worked in several direct care nursing roles, providing care to general surgical patients and cardiovascular intensive care patients. She has served as a nursing leader in both critical care and palliative care. As a subject matter expert, she has lobbied in Washington DC for the Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act. Her scholarly work includes publication in a peer-reviewed journal, as well as national and international speaker in palliative care.
